I wasn't looking
to start a business.
I grew up eating sugar in every form it came. When I finally started paying attention to what I was putting in my body, honey felt like a safe choice — until I started reading labels.
What I found on those shelves didn't feel like honey. It felt like a performance of honey.
So I went back to Araku — a valley I'd loved since childhood — and found what I'd been looking for. Honey that tasted like nowhere else. Because it comes from nowhere else.
I couldn't keep that to myself.
